Adult Pottery - Hand Building & Wheel Instruction with Stoneware Clay

Description:
In this three session class, participants will be introduced to basic techniques of hand building, throwing on a potter's wheel, and glazing. Using stoneware clay and earth tone glazes, participants will create pieces of art using an electric wheel, slab roller and extruder. The first two sessions are devoted to creating and the last session will focus on glazing. You will be notified when you can pick up your finished pieces at the Community Education after completion of the class. Both new and returning students are welcome.
Bring to Class:
Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or towel. A $35 supply fee is due to the instructor at the first day of class.
